NASA, USA and Canada (May 2012)
During the summer of 2012, I had the pleasure of participating in a space camp organised by my school at the Kennedy Space Centre, Florida, US. We had the opportunity to interact with NASA astronauts - Marsha Ivins and Susan Kilrain, witness Atlas V 501 satellite take off from the Cape Canaveral launch pad and undergo various space shuttle mission simulations.
After the camp, we proceeded on a tour of the cities of Orlando, New York City and Washington DC.
Post our tour of the US, we headed to Toronto, Canada, where we attended workshops on Robotics, Health Science and Liberal Arts at the York University.
